Give your doctor a call, I know you are an adult but Cipro is known to cause Juvinlle Arthritis. When I was about 10 they put me on it and it effected me so bad in my joints I had to use cruthes for 3 weeks until after visiting a specialist saying it wasnt JA and we found out it was the cipro. But as an adult Im fine with it so I know personally it can casue joint problems.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I called my GP yesterday and he did tell me to stop taking Cipro. Instead he put me on azythromycin, which I have taken many times before. However, I know it doesn't affect the pseudo.

I also managed to email my pulmo and he said to stop as well, but to try it again in 2 weeks.

If I can't tolerate quinolines (Cipro, Levaquin, etc) then how the heck are they going to manage the pseudo??

Good question. I too had a reaction to Cipro..only when they gave me 750mg. I had to stop and now my doctor will not give me Cipro or Levequin because of the reaction. I have no idea what the future holds when I get sick because I refuse to take Tobi anymore in fear of kidney failure. I'm running out of options at this point.

I have also had bad anxiety with cipro. I had to stop taking it last summer because I was SOOOOO extremely anxious, I could not sleep.

I also have severe stomach pains, nauseous-ness with Cipro. I had had problems with it years ago, but decided to try again last summer and alas...more of the same. I will probably not take it anymore.
