I was at clinic on Friday and cos i've got a cold they have given me oral Ciprofloxacin and Doxycycline to take.

I started them yesterday and was fine this morning i took my dose and within an hour was violently sick. I feel better now , just a bit dizzy its as though my body wanted them out and fast.
I think last time i took Cipro i was the same but its a while so i can't remember.

I wondered if anyone else has the same problem and do you carry on taking them . I'm not sure whether to phone clinc and ask before i take tonights dose or carry on and hope it gets better.

That seems odd that you have that reaction to it, I would call the docs. Thats isnt a normal reaction to cipro. Maybe your body just has a hard time with it, maybe they can switch you to leviqiun a 2nd generation form of it. But deff give them a call thats not normal or good for you!

Are you taking it with food, or on an empty stomach? I have to take Cipro with food. I would call your clinic and let them know what's going on.
