Code of Conduct

I think having a Code of Conduct is a good thing. Like Nicole said, sometimes the friendly reminder to be good cyber-citizens is needed around here. I'm hoping it will encourage people who are currently just "lurking" or "exploring" to feel comfortable enough to go ahead and become members and start posting their questions/comments without worrying that their point of view will be attacked or belittled.

Anything that promotes a safer and friendlier community is a good thing in my book.

I also put in my survey to the effect of having something like what Nicole suggested.
However, has anyone actually read it, yet?!
Did anyone notice at the bottom, the wording is a little "quirkey"?!
I sent a PM to Jeannes attention, thinking it was a bit odd, asking for her to take a look at it, it looked like it was in need of correcting.
I noticed the moderator will also be sending warning notes to those involved with "unacceptable behavior", which even though I'm sure may add a little extra work for the moderators, I'm glad they're willing to go the extra step for a better forum...who knows, they may make a baseline for other forums to go by!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Did anyone notice at the bottom, the wording is a little "quirkey"?!
I sent a PM to Jeannes attention, thinking it was a bit odd, asking for her to take a look at it, it looked like it was in need of correcting.
I noticed the moderator will also be sending warning notes to those involved with "unacceptable behavior", which even though I'm sure may add a little extra work for the moderators, I'm glad they're willing to go the extra step for a better forum...who knows, they may make a baseline for other forums to go by!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
