Andee, I have begun keeping black tea on hand for non-toxic cleaning and medicinal purposes. I rarely drink the stuff but have recently decided it is a "must have" for my home.
Skye, it depends on what is causing the stomach ache. With a pot roast, one issue might be the acidity. I rarely eat beef in part because it is too acid for me. Unless it was organic, beef is also typically pumped full of steroids and antibiotics. My son once had yogurt after beef upset his stomach on the theory that it was the antibiotics and other crap in beef that was the problem. The yogurt did help him. (He normally does not ever eat yogurt.) We keep organic yogurt in the house, in part because it tends to have more varieties of strains of probiotics in it, which helps diversify the gut ecology faster.
Hope you get better soon.
