Cold Remedies...

Yup...less than a week after going off of IV's I have yet another cold (not that I had a cold while I was on IV's). I have a stuffy nose, wicked sore throat...so far that is all. Pissed...it sucks.

I am wondering what you guys do as far as helping to get rid of symptoms. What do you take? Do you do sudafed, airborne...everything? Please tell me, I really cannot let this cold get to my lungs. I did look up a previous thread from like two years ago and got some good ideas, but what else do you do now?

I am taking zinc pills, took about 3 yesterday, will do more today. So far my lungs feel really good and I want to keep it that way for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE...obviously.

When someone in my family gets a cold, we do:

2-4 packets of Emergen C per day
Zinc
25,000 IU of Vit A up to four times a day at separate times for an adult.
plenty of fluids
lots of rest
increase treatments
