Compressor issue or neb cups??

My issue with calling them and having them replace it, is that I have to send it in, wait for them to get it and send out a new one. Took two weeks last time. Devilbiss took 3 weeks. Fortunately we have a spare, but it's a beast!

Ours has broken down 3 times in the past 2 months and I have had Pari overnight a new one to me each time with a return label for the old one. I then put the old one in the box and sent it back via UPS.

The second time it broke customer service at PARI said that it would take a week or so but I demanded that they overnight as we had no back up.

Natalie, Mom to Tom w/cf, 7 months DDF508 and Jack, 3 no cf

DEF started making that noise over the last few weeks! That is exactly how I would descirbe it, rattling, but nothing near it to be rattling against.

THANK YOU ALLL for your replies! I called the clinic, of course it was after hours...so they may or may not call me back tomorrow. I will take the information for Pari to work and try to call tomorrow. The one thing that concerns me is that I can already tell (from not doing treatments this AM) that I am more mucousy! Like I said, I don't have a backup. Last time a compressor quit on me, I was prescribed a new one and got it right away...I hope that happens this time too!

At least I am not the only one having this issue. I was worried that I was maybe overlooking something or should have cleaned better/replaced the filter...but alas...I guess we CFer's neb too much!

just 2 months ago mine was replaced with a inspiration by respironics which I KNEW would do the same thing (not to mention despite similar specs is not 'approved') and guess what its doing today?

yep the ol' rattle and roll.

I am ordering a mobilaire TODAY

oh and Caitlin each time this has happened to me that I didnt notice it right away I was not feeling well and I have a feeling its because it hadnt been being delivered right for some time leading up to the failure. Absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.
