Something I thought of is - what about going through a pulmonologist, given your son's history of pneumonia, current lung issues, etc. Or if you are currently under a pulmo's care, what are they saying?

He's not actually seeing a pulmonologist, I tried and tried to get him referred to one, but they could only refer us to a gastroenterologist. I guess Tricare says there's not a pediatric pulmonologist close enough to us. I even tried to get him in to the military hospital at the nearest base, but they told me only active duty can go there, and dependents who live on that base. I've been pulling my hair out over this since he was 2 days old.
