It could also be from the long term vanco. Vanco has always made me itch! When I'm on it, I'm always on 50mg benadryl, too. Itching and redness is the most common side effect with vanco.

my daughter tends to get itchy feet. However it happens mostly when an exacerbation starts to come on.
