We asked about decreasing enzymes, too when DS was having constipation issues. Doctor also said no. DS was born with a blockage due to meconium illeus -- too much mucus bogged down the intestines. He felt that when DS was younger -- the loose stool/constipation combo was more of a meconium equivilant -- too much stool backed up in the colon. Sometimes DS just needs a little assistance getting things moved along again. L
