Should I be worried about my daughter having contact with a Cf adult that has had a lung transplant? Are there still risks of cross infection if someone has had a transplant?
I'd be very careful for both of the CF people. Who knows with cross contamination. I'd check with a dr just to be safe. There is no sense in harming your child if you could prevent that from happening.
Be smart and be careful!
I doubt that your daughter would get an infection from the transplant patient, but she could pass something on to them. And with a transplant recipient having a compromised immune system because of antirejection meds an infection could be very serious. Check with the docs.
