Cops at my door

Yea now that I'm sorta thinking rationally, I can see why they pursued me, if my prints were in the car, that's a fundamentally shut-case. But the only reason why my prints were there is because of me either driving it in the garage, or out. There's any number of reasons-from vacuuming it out, to shutting the hood. They told me that they'd check my story out, and if it washes, that I will never hear from them again. That was hours ago. I was really shaken this afternoon; I thought I was through with all this stuff dealing with the law. Even though I'm about 99% sure I'm in the clear, I don't want to count my chickens before they're hatched. I know I haven't stole anything in a well over a decade, and I have never so much as stole a bicycle, let alone a car.

Yea, thanks Brad. I'll peg this to a classic case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Like I told the cops, because I work on cars, my fingerprints are on millions of cars over the course of 8 years, and I don't exactly work in a good part of town, so it's almost inevitable and expected that at least 1 will be stolen, I'm kinda surprised it didn't happen sooner.
