Cough shows up after starting Tobi

I really think you should call your doctor and pass along the info about the cough. I wouldn't take the chance by guessing. In the past when I've guessed wrong, I've gotten in trouble. I cannot take Tobi without a bronchodilator and know that most people can't take it without one either. It is so irritating and could make the airways swell.

Plus the Tobi cannot get into the deepest part of the long where it needs to be.

My daughter gets a "tobi cough" as well. About a week after starting she gets this dry cough, particularly at night. Sometimes she gets hoarse but not all the time. The clinic is not concerned, and we have noticed the same pattern in the span of years and she's healthy as a horse, so no worries here. I do second Nightwriter, it would be a good idea to bring it up at the next clinic visit, especially since this is a new thing.
