Coughing and Pain

Hi all,
I have recently gotten sick with a sinus infection that has of course decided to go to my lungs. I am coughing so much that all of my stomach muscles hurt, like I have been working out. Unfortunately they hurt so much I can't really move or walk without hunching over. When I cough now, which I have to do often, I get very sweaty and dizzy from the pain of my muscles.

I am trying not to cough, which is really only making things worse in the long run. My question is, what can I take for the pain? Would muscle relaxers work. I have gotten this pain before with working out but never this badly so I have just sucked it up usually.

Anyone else get this? Thanks!

ibprophen, if you can take it, my doctor lets me take up to 1000 mg

but i would say take 600 to start! it can upset your stomach!

good luck, i hate when that happens! but you'll be better soon!!!

Could you get a massage? I go to physiotherapists 3 times a week, otherwise my muscles would be "stone" already...

Oh, I hate it when I get that way! I usually just do the ibuprofin thing, too. If you remember to take it as often as you can (by the label, that is! LOL!), it will help alot more than if you just take it when it starts to really hurt again. I hope you feel better soon
