Coughing up blood

Did you just all of a sudden have this develop? What I find is odd is that I've been taking things like ibuprofren, vitamin C, etc. for years and now all of a sudden this starts... Also, I have noticed some sinus drainage, but I've had that in the past without blood... So, do you think you can just start having issues with it all of a sudden? Thanks for your input!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I've also noticed lately that the crud I cough up seems a bit more yellow and a bit less green, which would be a good thing, right?? So, when its streaked with blood its almost always a yellowish color and my "usual" is a dark olive green (sorry to be graphic)....

Anyway, keep the suggestions/comments coming! Thanks!!!

You know, Sonia, I recently started taking extra Vit C in the last few years.. So I haven't thought about this..

Of course, there have been a couple of times where I coughed up blood that it was just that.. I dont think it was caused from any vitamins or sinus issues or anything, just regular CF stuff.. But sometimes I feel like it's from one or the other. I maybe lay off the extra Vit C for a couple of days or try to maybe clean out my nose or something to see if it helps, and usually it does.



My boyfriend is very sensitive to Vitamin C. He has asthma and easily gets bloody noses. If he drinks too much orange juice, he gets a bloody nose. So that kind of puts it in perspective for me a bit. Maybe if we already have a problem (such as asthma, CF, anemia, etc, etc) then maybe we are easily aggrevated by those things.. Maybe as we get a little worse, it's easier for smaller things to impact us?
