I think she just wants to hear it, as her daughter and another mom have little ones who have not yet developed the old hacking up a lung smokers cough yet. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Go to a CF clinic if you want to hear CF coughs. Sit there in the waiting room for a few hours and you'll hear it......

That's exactly what I was going to say, but I was going to suggest to leave the kid at home & go back to the part of the clinic where the patients are doing PFT's and you'll only have to stay for a couple of patient's PFTs to get a good idea of what "the" cough sounds like.

This would be really helpful for parents of small children. Weston coughs like a smoker, but the doctor says it isn't a CF cough it is because of reflux. I would love to be able to hear the difference. I do understand why you wouldn't want to put yourself out there. I wouldn't even begin to know how to make a video and post it. Thanks to anyone who was willing to do this. From another mom who is confused on what I should be hearing I really appreciate you putting yourself out there!

I just had another idea - there's got to be some website out there that has audio of a CF person coughing.

Try a google search... there has to be something out there.
