Coughing/vomiting on Tobi.

Does anyone know what causes coughing/vomiting when starting Tobi? This is the first time this has happened to my friend. She's afraid to try again tomorrow morning.

sorry to hear about your friend. i will leave the technical answering of this question to someone who can explain better than me. however, i did want to add, when i have had trouble with Tobi making me short of breath, or making me cough more, i've found it helpful to make sure i've done the best airway clearance possible beforehand.
