Coughing-what is normal?

You got alot of good comment so far-its very true that coughs vary so much person to person and with time you'll tell which is a daily cough and a sick cough.

That being said-in a little one, I'd be careful with a barking type cough. There are alot of bronchial viruses right now-croup, whooping cough, rsv....not saying that your lo has any of them, but they say to take kids to the doc for any type of barking cough. I'd take him-so if its nothing, you went to the doc for no reason but thats not a big deal. If its something brewing-they'll catch it and stop it early.

Glad I went in! He's wheezing and they feel something is starting up-upped the vest time put him back on antibiotics albuterol along with the pulmozyme and steroids. *phew* At least this might ward off something more serious.

Thanks again for your advice.
