could it be an ear infection?

So, I've had this sensation lately, like I'm slightly dizzy or have medicine head. It's not too bad where I can't function though. Anyway, I thought it was because I'd been taking antihistamines and that was making me dehydrated, in addition to breastfeeding.

So, I stopped taking the antihistamines for a while and that hasn't helped. Anyway, today, in the middle of the day with no water involved it felt like my ears were kind of plugged, kind of like when you get water in your ears. It went away after a few minutes though. Could it be an ear infection?

Otherwise, I'm wondering if it might be the Zithromax, because that's the only other med I changed lately. Or do you guys think I'm just dehydrated??

I have never had that reaction to Zithro so cant say if its that. I also have never had that issue assocated with dehydration.

It could be fluid in the eat & not necessarily an ear infection. Ear infections tend to really hurt (no wonder the poor babies cry so much <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> )

I would get it checked out if it really keeps up......

Could be something with your sinuses affecting your eustacian tubes. My FIL was once treated for a condition in which there were calcium deposits (rocks in his head) in his eustacian tubes which caused dizziness and balance problems. He had to go to a specialist who would rotate his head in different positions to get the deposits to eventually drain out.

And I once had "the summer of the hangover" in which I had months of sinus type headaches, balance issues, vertigo, bedspins, dizziness. Was dreadful! It eventually went away.
