JENNY,

I AM SORRY THIS IS HAPPENING, BUT THING OF THE POSITIVE HERE. YOUR CF ISNT THE MAIN CULPRIT, THAT A PLUS. AND YOU STILL CAN HAVE A BABY, GRANTED IT BE THROUGH ADOPTION AND FOR SOME, THATS TOUGH TO HANDLE. BUT IF IT IS A BABY YOU WANT, ADOPTION IS A SMART WAY TO GO. SPENDING THOUSANDS FOR PROCEDURES THEY MAY NEVER WORK IS TOUGHER TO HANDLE THEN ADOPTING AND EVENTUALLY GETTING WHAT YOU WANT, A BABY TO RAISE AND LOVE.

I'm sorry for what you're going through. DH and I had wanted a child badly, but due to severe endometriosis, I ended up having a complete hysterectomy. Like Aspiesmom, there is a grieving process and I'm not sure I'm through it all yet, even after 6 years (but I never had grief counseling suggested...sure might have helped.). Adoption wasn't for us for various reasons, but it is a wonderful option for many.

I'd definitely get a second opinion if I were you. My heart goes out to you.
