D.C. or Baltimore area?

Thanks for all the amazing info! I'm getting more and more excited as I read them... Even though our move is probably a year or two away! The dust and pollution in Vegas is really getting to me and I'm developing more severe asthma as a result. We lived in San Antonio and it was also very humid, so its not like we've not lived in that before, and to tell you the truth, my lung functions were some of their best when we lived there... odd.

Anyway, keep the suggestions coming! Sounds like they have some great medical care in that area and a wide variety to choose from.

I've been to DC once last summer and we took the metro to a lot of places, but I'm curious whether the metro connects places like Baltimore with other regions so if the drive was too long for me to make to a CF center further from where we live, could I just hop on the metro?

Thanks again! You guys are truly awesome!!!

I go to the CF Adult clinic at JH in Baltimore. I was recently DX with CF. I can say that I was very impressed by the holistic team approach they take towards CF care. I've never experienced anything like it. This area is notorious for spring & summer outdoor allergens because of all the pollens and grasses. It's not at all uncommon for my car to be dusted a lovely shade of matt green in the morning if I forget to put the cover on it. ~Juliet

I found this, hope it helps!

metrorail stations

I believe they put one in by NIH, which is right accross the way from the Naval hospital. (medicl center stop)

I tried looking for John Hopkins but had no luck! I don't go there so I'm probably missing something really obvious!
Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center

I wasn't able to find Childrens...probably for the same reasons! But with the metro site above you should be able to locate those, or others who attend may be able to help out!
