I have the same comment dont do pulmozyme at night because then by time it reaches peak effectiveness you will be asleep.

I do zopenex with my vest and I also do pulmozyme with vest with workout afterward but I am not as concerned since I take 2 vials a day and it is a risk I am willing to take with myself because I feel I still get jsut as good benefits and I have experimented but I dont know as I woudl risk it with my child.

AMy,

Thanks for your reply. I was just wondering why you should not do it with the vest? Lots of people seem to do it. So I was just curious.

When do you do your Pulmozyme, in what order with your other inhaled meds and your vest? Do you do Pulmozyme before or after your vest?

As far as the AM or PM thing, I have heard different ways from a lot of patients and caregivers, some were told do it in the AM so it has all day to work and help get the mucous thinned and then up and out. Makes sense.

Some have been told to do it at night so it can sit in the lungs and really work. This also make sense, so I am not sure which one to do, what is your opinion.

Hayley is only 3, so she has not done PFT's yet, but I am assuming she is about 70%, I will ask the doctor about the twice a day.

Thanks in advance and thanks to all the others who replied!!
