Just to update previous posts...
Allie, the CF dbl lung transplant, on Deal or No Deal ended up walking with $124,000. I heard she's giving some to the CF Foundation, but not sure how much.

YES she did a great job!! To bad she didnt go all the way for her $300,000 but 124 is plenty in all of our shoes!!! CONGRATS and hopefully she has fun at her wedding reception/new lung party... she didnt get to have a reception due to being to sick when she got married last year so thats something she is going to do!!

YEAH!!!! I was so excited when I saw this! Did anyone actually hear her say she was giving any of the money to CF? I never actually heard that. Also, I found myself thinking what a nice gesture it would be if "deal or no deal" found out she was giving the money to charity, to match her gift! Hmmm.... wonder why THAT didn't happen?!? I just thought it would be a really nice thing for them to do since she's probably the first one going to give some of the money away to help others. Usually, its just celebs that give away winnings. Good for her if she's giving some of it!

HAHAH if the chick who won had CF, and presented the winning check to the special olympics, and not CF, that is sooooooo F'ing awesome. Good for her, in the aspect that she made everyone think she was going to do something in particular just to her condition. In all seriousness, i'd personally give my winnings to the disease that I am afflicted with, just because I have talked to so many and am empathic towards the problems. But I could just as easily donate it towards an environmental fund, or some other disease like pediatric cancer that I feel is real bad. Someone/something is being helped, so who cares.

Why is everyone sho surprised? Did she actually say it would go towards the benefit of CF whether it be CFF or something else? Are you surprised because of the fact that her tx & CF were presented makiing it seem like its an "obvious" cause? Just curious.....I can only by what people tell me since I didnt watch the episode nor do I watch the show!
