detoxing the liver

The concept of removing 'toxins' from the body is completely false. Alternative medicine folks have been pushing it for over a century, and never have come up with any hard evidence. The only body 'toxins' I know of are alcohol and infection.

lol. Science has evidence without certainty. Alternative medicine has certainty without evidence. I've wasted years of my life trying various alternative methods, and, trust me, nearly all of them have little to no effect. If something works, modern medicine soon embraces it. Case in point: hypertonic saline. That's all I'm going to say.

I think I read about this on healthboards and googled it because I was curious... Is this where people are supposed put a collander in their toilet to collect supposed liver stones that resemble bunny poo?
