Digestive problems.

I used to have that same experience. It took me and my GI doc awhile to get a handle on what was going on. Eventually a prescription for Reglan turned out to be what I needed. It's a drug that gets your intestinal juices flowing so that by the time the food gets there, the fecalization process can proceed as normally as possible.

I also have problems with C. Diff. which can cause bloating and discomfort, especially an hour or two post-meal. Flagyl was prescribed for that.

Typically I have more problems with being too loose than being gummed up. I agree with others about the smaller meals thing. Have you been eating different foods now that it's summer time? Are you eating out more? Snacking on foods you don't usually eat?

You're wise to bring it up at your next doctor appointment. I the problem works itself out, or that you and your doctor can figure out what's going on.
