No, I cant get disibility, and Im not married. I think that the system is terriable! They tell me i need to cut my hours or quit. No thanks I would rather work as long as I could and not live off the state until i have to. Yes everyday is a struggle, but Im glad i am here to have that struggle. All i can say is when i have to go on disibility i better be able to get it! lol

I believe you can get Medicad an SSI..

I Retired on Disability through SS. I ha d worked full times for 33 years.
Megan ,i was told I had to Stop working all together.Not just cut hours.

My Doc had been trying to get me to retire for 10 years when I finally did.
I had to be retired for 24 months before I could get Medicare. I have it now.
I pay 150.00 a month Prems for Part B and a Drug plan.
It covers 80% , just like most Insurance company's
But It You get Medicad, all Medical is covered 100%.
