Well I just spent 22 days in a hospital bed. 6 of which were in the ICU. I am home now on oxygen and just trying to get better. I am SO weak that I am getting so discouraged. The docs tell me I will bounce back its just going to take some time. They also gave me the speech about how much time I have left if I don't get a transplant. I am working on packing on the pounds so I can get evaluated. Also, I am so so scared to go to sleep, I have convienced myself something bad in going to happen to me when Im asleep. They took me off my prozac because it interacts with one of my antibitoics, does anyone have any suggestions to calm me down so I can actually sleep? I figured you guys out of anyone would know what Im going through.

start working out .... even if all you can do is walking laps around your house or floor exercises.
Have you considered meeting with a trainer? Maybe your insurance would cover physical therapy to help you get back your strength. Nothing make me tired like a day with a good workout.

Good luck and stay positive! Make plans.

im sure this probably isnt the best way to relax and sleep but when i am sick and cant sleep i take benadryl. i would talk to your dr before you do that but i figured i would put it out there. also try taking a warm bath....dim the lights and listen to music and relax!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
