Hi Lauren,
This is one of those topics that I have a lot of opinions on! I agree with you and don't really trust anything that is just rinsed in tap water. Even if you use the Control III which is some sort of a disinfecting solution, the instructions on the Contol III say to rinse with tap water when you're done!! Huh??
Here is what I have been doing, and it seems to be really working for me. I bought a plastic pot (that is sold to be used as a vegetable steamer)... so it has a pot bottom, and a strainer thing that fits inside, and has a top so that the steam stays inside. I microwave my regular nebs in it (pari, side stream) along with the e-flow neb parts for 10 minutes. I take it out, lift the strainer out of the pot, shake the excess water off, and I'll put the strainer with the nebs in it back in the microwave for a minute to dry off a bit. Then just let them finish air drying! It's really pretty simple.
If that description made no sense, I found a similiar one on the web so you can see what I'm talking about:

Any questions, let me know... but that seems to be the easiest for me to do, while still making myself feel that they are as sterilized as possible...
