<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>I'm on the non-anti-bacterial soap and water wagon. I'm not big into sterilizing everything because quite frankly, I don't give a damn. I use the alcohol for the head, but that's it. I don't even boil it ever. I never boiled my regular nebs either. I cleaned them, just didn't boil. *shrug* </end quote></div>

I am glad I am not the only one...Thank you Emily!

Hello all-
I wash it with soap and water then put the whole thing in alcohol for five minutes. While I am doing that, I boil distilled water for five minutes ( I have to do tis anyway for my nose irrigation) I then rinse the whole thing in the sterile water and let it air dry.

I just bought the germ guardian for drying it when I need it to dry very quickly...

IV Solutions told me not to boil the parts as some people were having issues with leakage afterwards...no biggie for me as I like alcohol better anyway. The only deal is I HAVE to rinse he alcohol off before use because it is really miserable if the medicine mixes with the alcohol that has dried on the neb.

I boil my neb parts and head after each treatment. Then I put the head in the alcohol until the next treatment and the neb pieces in the germ guardian to dry. Once you get into the habit it's not so bad.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
