hey guys,

i'm SO against disposalbe things, but i'm thinking of getting some disposable nebs for my trip to costa rica. we all know what a pain it is to travel with CF! i'm hoping this will make it a little easier. my question is, how do i know i'm getting a good one? i found a site that has one made by Hudson for $1.35 and one by Devilbiss for $3.68. is there a difference?

thanks!

Do you realize that the Disposable nebs is just the cup you out your meds into and then attach that to your compressor.
Disp nebs can run in a variety of prices depending on the pharmacy. I find it is just how they are made that makes the difference to me. Some just dont dispense the meds right. These are reusable too, I use mine for a month and wash them out daily. Its the same piece they use in the hospital. For traveling I love my travel- Micro-Air Electronic Nebulizer. Its made by OMRON. Its worth every penny. No extra med cups needed, its all in one piece except for the mouth piece you put on when using. Its tiny too! I can carry it in my purse, runs on batteries or ac adapter. Look into it!

I am very confused. I thought catboogie was asking about this. I am guessing she wants cheap yet affective neb cups to dispose so she doesnt have to worry about cleaning/disinfecting in between uses.

melissa is right. i already have a portable nebulizer and i wouldn't be interested in an omeron since i would have to clean it and that is going to be the problem.

anyone else know if all disposable nebs are basically created equal?
