Do carriers of cf have any symptoms?

I would have to believe yet, it's never been proven, but I think there is realtionship to asthma, of course u will have some CF carriers that say they don't have any symptoms, while some people with asthma are not carriers. I know that men that are infertile (lack of vas deferns) have a CF link to this.

My sister is a carrier and had bad asthma as a child, but not any more though.
My dad is a carrier and has sinus problems and gets brochitis alot. My dad also had trouble with putting on weight as a child, but has no problems now with that lol.
I have irrittable bowel syndrome, but only later in my life.

makes you wonder if it is related to being a carrier.

My Mum and I were talking about this the other day, funny it is brought up now <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hi...female 38 with CF and CFRD. My mom and father were carriers of the CF gene. I have CF, it bypassed my sister and my Brother has CF, he just went through a double lung transplant.
