do u prepare for pfts?

Oh sorry. Apart from what I mentioned I also try a technique someone posted up hear ages ago (risa maybe?) where I would place my hands on my knees and try and press them out when I breathed out. I find this helps but maybe my lung function increases naturally as my lungs heal.

She blows them up with as long a breath as she can. She blows up the balloon 5 to 6 times twice a day along with her normal physio (flutter). She does this the whole week before her lung function is due.

I wish i could con her into doing it all of the time, but I suppose it would get tedious.

she had a jump of 10% in her pft's though we can't say it was the only thing that worked as she was also on new drugs. But may as well use anything that helps <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Also more exercise would help too.
