Do you do IV's for 10 days or 14 days?

I am coming up to the 10th day on IV drugs for my tune up. Typically I only go 10 days cause I can not handle it anymore. It seems I get better to a certain point and then that it. I then get a bit more better once IV drugs are out of me and I am back to doing some exercise.

Does anyone else have that experience?

The absolute minimum I have ever done IV's was 12 days & that was in the hospital when I was younger.

I suppose it depends on how sick you are. 10 days (hell 14 days even) isnt close to enough for me anymore.

I do agree that I dont feel my best or see results until a bit after the meds are out of my system......

I don't think i've ever done them less than 14 days. Usually a 3 - 4 week course is my normal these days (sometimes longer).
I guess like Melissa said, it most likely depends on how sick you are when you first go on them and how well/ quickly you respond to them.

I did 24 days of colisten (i think) for my last hospitalization. I was in the joint for 10 days and they had me do home drips for 2 weeks.

I was pretty screwed up though. This wasn't a typical tune up.
