Do you have a Pulse-ox (O2) machine?

Hi Sevenstars:

I wonder if you could call the person who got it for you and tell them thank you and you wonder if there wasn't a model that was smaller with all the info sitting in front of you that you need. Describe it to her tell her you need to for outdoors and maybe they can get you a model that is more suted to you. Send them a picture if you have to.

Mine is called an oximeter. No plugging in or anything. Just measures the heart rate and O2 stat.

Mine should be in the mail, soon. However, the wife found it on the net after searching for six months. It's portable, but not as small as I thought it would be. Regardless, it was half-off because it was a used product...hopefully it'll do more than what I expect from it for the price I'm paying, it's not covered by insurance at all...neither was my neb machine.

Well this is an ironic post LOL!

I just got my pulse-ox in the mail today! I orderd it off of ebay and I love it already. It is a check mate model. It was $116 but no shipping and I ordered Thursday night and had it today. I forget the name of the company that I bought it from. There were a ton of different ones that all looked the same but cost different prices. This one is tiny and has a little glove with nubs on it so it stays on your finger. Plus it only goes on when your finger is inside. It is orange and gray and has a rope to keep it around your neck plus a nice hard carrying case to travel with it. It is very tiny, maybe 1 inch by 2 inches.

I have used it so much already and I have had it um 2 hours! HAHA. I went food shopping and noticed my heart rate soared to 147 and my O2 drppped below 88. Not a good thing. I was suspecting I was dropping with little things and now I can actually prove it!

I didn't even try to go through insurance because I was impatient and wanted mine fast and didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to get it covered.
