Culturing at least 10 years. So far *knock on wood* minimal effect on pft's. They have more tools these days to keep it in check. Tobi has always worked for me. I also think zithromax has helped. Exercise and Saline are good non-drug options.

I have cultured for it since 1996. I don't tolerate Tobi so we usually hit it with Zithromax and Gentimician. It has not affected my FEV1 either (99-100%).

I have cultured PA since my dx at 7 years old. I am sure I had it for much longer tho.

<br />For about 5 years I cultured 2 strains as well as MRSA. I havent cultured MRSA or the 2nd strain of PA in about 3 years now KNOCK ON WOOD!
