doctors orders?

so right now i am about 5'2" and weigh 104 and my bmi is 19.
well. my doctor wants me to be at a bmi or 21 which would mean that i need to gain about 10 pounds.
okay i see how he says it will help better my lung funtion yadda yadda yadda.
but i dont know at 115 and only 5'2"?
it seems like too much to me.
and i apparently need to get more nutrition into my diet and my enzymes have been increased to 1 mt20 at meals to 2 at meals.
i dont know how i should go about this weight gain.
i dont really like mayo or really high fat foods unless its junk food i suppose but i need to eat healthy and more nutrious foods.
i already eat soo much food now i cant imagine eating even more.

not to mention i have cfrd.
guh.
this is so difficult i want to be at a healthy weight and such but i also want to feel comfortable and not "chubby"

i dont know i like having a flat tummy and not a "poofy" one.
would excersize help to when i gain weight and prevent it from just being fat or whatnot?
because the thing is i want to be small still and have a flat stomach as well.

I definately think that exercise is the answer here! Not only will that also improve your pfts a great deal, but it will help you to gain weight as muscle and not just fat, which lets face it would just be kind of useless except a bit of insulation!

21 is definately not chubby though, and if you gained it as muscle you would enjoy a very fit and toned looking body that guys dig! Just like with athletes, they have a high bmi often in the overweight category, but do not appear in any way large.

Do you already do some cardio/resistance exercise? How is your appetite? xxx

I know that you are a girl and everything but, Like Michelle said, I you gain muscle mass your BMI will go up and you will still have a reserve to use when you get sick. I am considered overweight if you look at the BMI chart, I am 6' and 210 lbs, my BMI is 28.5, but if you looked at me you would not call me over weight. I have actually loss fat but have gain muscle, and look more fit then when i was down at 190.
So gain some weight but make it Muscle. and if you get a little insulation thats always a good thing.

I have actually loss fat but have gain muscle, and look more fit then when i was down at 190.
So gain some weight but make it Muscle. and if you get a little insulation thats always a good thing.
