I was wondering if anyone has been to this clinic? If you have what have been you experiences with it? Do you like it? What do you like or dislike about it?

I went there from 1997-2003. At first (1997) they were really well organized, accomodating and overall a great clinic. Then Dr. Conrad added a female doctor who was not so good, particularly at bedside manners. And as the clinic grew it became more and more disorganized and mismanaged. The year I left the clinic I heard several CFers died, and I almost died because they were myopic about my symptoms and care, and at one point it seemed as if they gave up on me. I left to go to the USC Clinic. I heard that that female doctor (Woods) left. Their disorganization and approach to my particular case left me with a bad expereince where I likely would not go back unless I absolutely had to. One thing about the San Diego Clinic, was that the Respiratory Therapist Team who work with the CF patients directly were awesome the whole time I was under their care. Also, Dr. Conrad is nice but a bit aloof.

I can't speak to how they are doing now, or how they would manage or did manage other cases. It has been almost 3-4 years since I was there.
