Does your child do CPT before or after Neb?

I have noticed a couple of people say that their child does CPT and then does a Neb. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

I thought the neb softened things up and then the CPT was better able to dislodge the mucus.

Some nebulizers thin mucus, (pulmozyme) and some help make the airways "slippery", (hypertonic saline), and are done before CPT. Antibiotic nebulizers, like TOBI, are done after CPT once the lungs are nice and clear.

My girls use a vest, so they neb at the same time as CPT.

Taylor is now old enough to huff and cough, so we stop the vest for her to do this (only sometimes does she get anything up, but it is a good habit to build).
