My daughter does Golytely everynight. She had what is called a appendicocastomy a little over a year ago. It had never been tried on someone with CF. It's done for spinal cord injurys. They took her appendix and tied into her lower colon and she inserts a catheter into the stoma and off she goes with the golytely. She has had only one block in the last year. It has been the best thing for her. She decides everynight when she wants to go. Everyone she meets in pulomnary wants to see it.
