Double Lumen Port

I got my first Port a little over a week ago, and like it so far. I have not had it accessed yet though. I got it and they just left my PICC in and let the port heal. They did not even give me the coice of a double or single. I probably would have went with the double if given the chance as I have really bad veins. But with the double they would have to make one that was the designated blood draw and the other just for the IV meds or it will screw up your Tobra levels.

I once had a central line in my neck and it had three ports.
