I am pretty sure it is Doxycycline. I have taken it too, as well as my husband. Neither of us had any problems with it. Good luck!

I have several antibiotic allergies - Cipro, Levaquin, Bactrim, Augmentin....but Doxycycline does the trick for me and I have no side effects from it. What kind of reactions did you have with the sulfa and Augmentin? A rash?
