Draining Fluid from the Lung

I don't know if it's the same thing, but years ago (before I was with my CF center, just with my sucky HMO)...they "suctioned" my lungs for mucus (I doubt my CF center would have done such a thing). Anyway I didn't think it was bad - I did a breathing treatment of a med that numbed my throat area - then they stuck something down there and sucked. It would kind of take my breath away, but only for a second, but I didn't think it was a big deal. Most CFers are tough and can handle this kind of stuff. Again, I don't know if this was anything like what they are going to do.

I'm glad the tests showed something to give them a plan of attack. I surely hope this solves the problems you've been having !!! My thoughts are with you...
