Dream Foundation (make a wish) for adults

Hi Guys-
I just wanted to let adults know that there is a foundation like Make a Wish except they are only for adults.

When I lived in LA, I worked there for a bit and I loved the people there and it was an amazing way to help older terminally ill patients fulfill a dream....

It is www.dreamfoundation.org and I just thought that maybe some of you guys might like to know about it....to pass along to family members or friends.

I cannot say enough about the people who work there....love them, love them, love them....

They do do wonderful work, but as far as I am aware you must be able to prove you only have six months to live in order to qualify, which in a cf-ers case is rather hard to predict! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

I was going to say the same as Shamrock, my physio looked into it for me about 2 years ago. I believe you have to have a very low life expectancy. With CF this is very hard to predict and usually when you have only a few months to go you can't do much anymore, at least i couldn't go away for a day or something..

But yes, it is a very good cause ofcourse. It's great there is something like this for adults too
