economic stimulus payments

Nicole, I sure hope I am wrong<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> That would be great. Would you let me know what your source is. All I am able to find points to it be a loan on an anticipated refund. Much like what they did a few years ago. Again, I think donating it to the CFF is wonderful!

The link you posted did not work for me. But I found the following information on the IRS Website...

<b>Q. Will the payment I receive in 2008 reduce my 2008 refund or increase the amount I owe for 2008?</b>

A. No, the stimulus payment will not reduce your refund or increase the amount you owe when you file your 2008 return.
