Effect of treatments on others

I'll spare the story and make this quick and to the point:
I take albuterol, hyp-sal, dornase, and Tobi every day. Is it safe for someone to be in my studio apartment while I do my treatments? My room fills up pretty well with mist from my treatments...is it safe for someone else to breathe in the excess medicine in the air? (specifically with the Tobi)

I hope this makes sense and isn't a dumb question...

I think it is. I have been around so much inhaled antibiotics having two girls w/CF and haven't suffered any ill effects. Not just in our home but also when they have been in hospital doing treatments 4 times a day. I never wore a mask nor was I ever told I ought to. I do remember the only time a nurse wore a mask while a treatment was going was when she was pregnant (the nurse)and one of the girls was doing Gentamycin or Colistin.

Excellent, thanks! I usually end up not doing treatments when people are over but I'm planning to move in with one of my close friends and I've recently started to do treatments while she's over. She's not bothered at all and she says she usually can't tell...but I figured it was a good thing to know just in case

My boyfriend said he can't breathe in my albuterol treatments (the mist) so he just leaves the room. The TOBI doesn't bother him tho.

Hey, my mom posted up there...Liza.

Anyways, non of my roommates have ever had any problems when I did my treatments around them, the albuteral or any of the antibiotics.

im with my daughter all of the time and the only one i have been cautioned about is Tobi....i was told by our respiratory dept to always mask up when administering tobi, respiratory is supposed to also. before i knew this (and wasnt wearing a mask) it would really irritate my throat and make me cough alot, but nothing else has bothered me. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks for all the posts! She's sat in for three or four treatments now and she's not bothered at all!
