We are thinking of getting a germ guardian. Does anyone who uses the eflow have one or use one?

We used to boil the parts after every use and FoundationCare discouraged it because the heat was to intense.
Plus it really began leaking a lot.

So now we are back to alcohol but i am not sure what I think about this method either. It does seem quick, but I want to be 100% sure that it is the best way.

Will alcohol kill everything that cf lungs need it to kill?

Since boiling is out, we had thought of the germ guardian, I heard it was aproved in the UK by Pari, does anyone know if that is true?

I have the eflow...and I boil it 1-2 times a week, while also placing the head piece in alcohol. In between those times, I use tap water and non antibacterial dish soap. I have had the eflow for about 2 years and have not had an problems. I have been so much better with the eflow. I know some ppl dont agree with this cleaning method, but it works for me. I dont use a sterilizer.

I boil the neb cup and medal head after each treatment and use the germ guardian for drying the plastic neb pieces while leaving the head in alcohol. I have had mine for 5 months now. I have no problems with leakage...you have to make sure that the when you close the flap on the neb cup after inserting the medal head that you hear a snap. If not press the tap that extends to make the closure down while still in the open position and then try snapping it shut again. Hope that helps.
