Just thought I'd add... I just got my eFlow today. I'm way still learning it. But we can bounce questions off of each other, I think, if you get one.

Oh and I'm with Jem. I got the eFlow itself free from Foundation Care, after we ordered the Colistin from them. I also got free vitamins (ABDEKs, no more gross banana ADEKs!!!) with the order. And saline came too!!! I feel spoiled.

The only down side to using the dishwasher is that you must run it through the entire cycle without any dishes twice a day. It seems excessive to me to use a full size dishwasher for this purpose but that's just my opinion. And anyway with a family of 5 I never have an empty dishwasher so that is not feasible for me.

I know that sakasuka has a tabletop dishwasher dedicated for this purpose so that works well for her.

Sounds good to me, Em! And yes, Amy is queen of the eFlow. LOL!

I agree. Actually, I don't even use a dishwasher, since Rick and I are the only ones that would be using it. I wash everything by hand, so I'll just stick with boiling.

Tiffany,

I have had the E-Flow since late last year and I still have trouble keeping my aerosol head clean. I even bought an ultra sonic jewellery cleaner which has helped somewhat. I clean the head in the u/sonic cleaner once / week with demineralised water.

After each use I rinse the head under running water w some detergent then I immediately put the head (together with the nebuliser unit) in demineralised water and boil for 10 mins. I still found that my head only lasted 4 months (I use HS 7% and I know that this reduces the lifespan of the head).

If there are any other tips you can give me, please let me know. My nebuliser times have gone from 8 mins to 17 minutes now for Ventolin and 5 ml HS (and no, I don't mix).

Thanks
