Strange but true. It's probably different for everyone but yes, a whole range of emotions can trigger it for me. I can hear some exciting/shocking news, and within a minute without doing anything physical, I have a coughing 'attack'.

Crying and laughing are my worst enemies!!! Even giggles can send me into a coughing fit!!!!!!!!!!! And like Lene said, if I hear something shocking and gasp it sends me into one too. Pain in the arse I tell ya!!!!!!!!!
