Just finished my two week course of home iv's and a bit disappointed that my FEV1 has stayed at 53%. it was only really a tune up before my hols so the hospital weren't concerned but i thought they might have gone up a bit.
On the plus side i do feel better, less tired and less stressed after two weeks off work definitely not looking forward to going back tomorrow.
I have had haemoptysis in the past and am a bit worried in case it happens on holiday which is why i had the iv's in the first place to make sure no infection was lurking. I have been told to make sure i keep well hydrated (i sound like a plant LOL!!). Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
Also if it does happen (hopefully it won't fingers toes and everything crossed) when should i worry and when should i ignore it and see if it heals itself?
