Enzyme OD?

With DS any time we adjusted his enzymes or his zantac was increased, he'd have issues. But eventually he'd get adjusted. When he was 4 months old he was still stooling albeit loose, but his feeding decreased and he was fussier. And xray showed a LOT of stool in the colon, so we were instructed to give ds milk of mag to get him cleaned out. So we had to do that a few times the first year or so.

And we were told too he'd have to have a LOT of enzymes to o.d. -- and sometimes we'd give him his enzymes and he'd only take an ounce. He was fine. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

We were also told taht you'd have to take A LOT of extra enxymes over a LONG period of time to have organ damage. I think that I've seen constipation, too, sometimes, when Em gets a bit more than she needs (usually because she just stops eating mid meal after having enzyme!).

I would say the vomiting is something else - get it checked out. Could be a reflux issue or something bigger.

I agree, deciding what's normal baby and what's CF is SOOOOO frustrating. I STILL struggle with it, and I'll bet most others here do, too. For now, while she's so little, assume CF, and get stuff checked out. The worst that can happen is that they'll send you home, telling you not to worry because it's normal baby stuff. Think how relieved you'll feel!

Good luck!
