excersizing and treatments

Today I went to the gym I found that I was weezing a lot when I was on the treadmill. I am usually able to do one to two miles at a quick walk but today I had to stop at one mile cause I was getting a little worried about how much weezing I was doing. Has anyone tried doing a treatment before working out to see if that might help with the weezing? Or does anyone do anything before working out to help with breathing better? If you do do a treatment what would you recommend, Pulmizime, Albuterol, Tobi? Any suggestions?

I am no doctor and only going off what I believe to be true. Pulmozime and tobi are considered to be anitbiotics and you want those to stay in the lungs, not eject them while excersising. I would do a albuterol.(even an albuterol inhaler would help I think)

It depends on the type of weezing. If it's asthmatic then Albuterol/Salbutamol might be effective to relax or widen up the airways but if it's sputum then Albuterol does nothing and you can try hypertonic saline and getting as much gunk out of your lungs as possible. Ofcourse exercise is great for that in itself but it's hard to throw full coughing fits and spitting stuff out in a public gym. That's why homygyms are so great and I'm very happy with mine. I can freely hack away and after exercising I'm pretty much clean.

Pulmozyme, Tobi etc. are not so much for "direct" lungclearing as much as they work on the stuff in your lungs in the longer run. (hours, day) Where something like hypertonic saline gets stuff moving and makes it easy to move right away. YMMV.
(Pulmozyme is not an antibiotic but you're right that you want to keep it in there a bit.)

I don't know why I didn't think of saying hypertonic, but for me it makes me cough more at that time of treatment.
